Species 3i.    C. decorus group

Larva a medium sized plumosus-type (about 14.5-15.5mm);  ventral tubules relatively long, posterior pair longer.    Gular region slightly darkened, frontoclypeus pale.    Mentum with somewhat rounded teeth, c2 teeth of centre trifid tooth not well separated (type I); 4th laterals slightly reduced (type II).

Cytology:    4 pairs of chromosomes with thummi arm combination AB, CD, EF, G.
Arm G closely paired with 2 Balbiani rings near middle of the arm.    Nucleolus in arm D.

Found: Ontario - 4 m E Sudbury.
            Pennsylvania - vicinity Pittsburgh.
