Larva of fluviatilis-type i.e. ventral tubules scimitar shaped with relatively pointed ends. Head capsule of narrower than normal, with gula sometimes slightly darkened, frontoclypeus pale. Mentum of type II, with the fourth laterals about as high as the fifth laterals; central trifid tooth with the c2 teeth fairly well separated (type II). AR about 2.1 - 2.3.
Cytology: 4 pairs of chromosomes with the thummi arm
combination: AB, CD, EF, G.
Arm G with subterminal nucleolus and BR near middle of the arm.
Sometimes a puff developed
in arm B and C. No polymorphism found in specimens examined.
