Master of Science (MSc) Genetics Program

** closing date for applications extended to Thursday 26 November 2009 **

The Master of Science in Genetics is a two-year program designed to enhance your knowledge of Genetics, to provide professional training as a scientist and to enhance your abilities for research. The MSc Genetics is an integrated package consisting of a research project conducted under the supervision of a member of staff and course work involving both Advanced Genetics and Professional Tools subjects. The research project continues throughout the program, will involve written and oral presentations. and a committee will meet with you during the year to provide valuable assistance and feedback. The MSc Genetics will provide strong training in scientific research for further studies or entry into the workforce.

- Department of Genetics application forms are available as a PDF and a Word doc.
- Melbourne Graduate School of Science application must be done on-line at http://graduate.science.unimelb.edu.au/science/apply
NOTE: Both the Department of Genetics and Melbourne Graduate School of Science forms must be completed by Thursday November 26 for an application to be considered.
